19 weeks and counting!

Almost half-baked! ;) Last Wednesday marked the 19th week of my pregnancy. My anatomy scan is scheduled for Thursday, and we will hopefully get to find out the gender of this little one!! I'm so excited to find out! I have thought girl all along but for some reason, M is convinced its a boy! I know neither of us will be disappointed, but I will say that I may be a little nervous if I find out its a boy. Even with 8 nephews, I just don't know what to do with a boy of my own! It's a little scary to think about, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. LOL :) Love this little bug! Can't wait to meet him/her!!!!

Has it been that long?!

Geez...2 months since my last update? I need to step it up!! Well, as of Wednesday this week, I will be 16 weeks pregnant. I have started to feel a few little kicks here and there. I can't wait until they are stronger and more frequent. It's one of the best memories I have from when I was pregnant with A. And we are only about a month away from finding out the sex (hopefully!) This early stuff is the part I like the least. It's too early to plan anything, and that's what really gets me going. I want to go shopping and buy cloths, and furniture and supplies, but my hands are still tied! I am, however, very grateful to be feeling much better than I was a few weeks ago.

A is getting so big! I love hearing her talk. She is pretty funny, even if she doesn't know why. She has started to "sing" the "alphabet", although she usually starts on E, and mostly mumbles over the LMNO part. It's pretty cute though. And thanks to my 6 yr old neice and 3 yr old nephew, she throws a "TACO!" in there every now and then. It's a fun game they made up a while ago, and it has caught on with her now! Haha...too funny. But my favorite thing to hear her say is still "I wah you!!" I love you, too, baby :)

I guess I will make it official on here...

Your Everyday Mommy is going to be a MommyX2!!! It's been a few weeks since my BFP, I am now almost 7 weeks along (as of tomorrow). I have only told our immediate family, and of course a bunch of strangers on the internet...also known as my message boards. I am waiting to tell other family and the FB world until after my first ultrasound, which is scheduled for June 21! Just over a week away! I'm too excited!

Great day! And I'm still here...

Had a great day, not what I expected at all from Judgement Day!! Sorry crazy familyradio.com guy. I think you were wrong. Again. I wonder what your day will be like tomorrow?

Anyway, I went to see my friend and her little boy and we went out to eat and to a pier, and then to a merry-go-round museum! A loved riding the carousel! We just sat on the bench, but she was smiling the whole time!

The day was fun, but I got a little sunburned on my shoulders :( But it was the little guy's birthday and we had a good time. The only other downside was that they were doing free boat rides, with 75 people at a time, and we missed the 2:00 ride, and we got in line for the final ride at 3:00 and we were numbers 76, 77, 78 and 79 :( What luck. The poor guy was heartbroken!

Well...TTC wise, I am 10 dpo today and I broke down and tested this morning. I am all out of ICs, but I bought some tests at DG the other day so I used one of those. I thought I maybe saw a faint line, but I didn't want to make myself crazy over it, since I'm only 10dpo. I think I will test again Monday and hope for a clearer line.

Cycle #2 on Clomid

Right now I am **probably** 2dpo for this 2nd cycle. I'm still debating whether or not I want to keep temping throughout the 2ww since I drove myself nuts last month, but I had a bit of a fallback this morning, so I think I will at least for a few more days. I'm cautiously optimistic this cycle. I triggered on day 15, because when I went on on day 14, I had one good follie at about 19mm, but there were 3 others between 13 and 15 that were close, so we decided to wait a day. In essence, that gives me 4 possible eggs! I think that's the most I've ever had at one time, I just hope it pans out for us.

To go nuts, or not to go nuts. That is the question.

Well...cycle 1 was a bust. CD1 sucked pretty bad, mostly because I drove myself crazy on FF. I actually spent an amount of time I am too embarrassed to admit browsing through other charts that looked similar to mine to see how many of them ended up as pregnancy charts. And I peed on more sticks than I care to admit. But now I'm CD6 of cycle 2 and have already taken 2 doses of 100mg Clomid; 3 more to go. I might just go without temping after I get my CHs, just so I can't drive myself nuts this time. But I also might not be able to resist...

Yesterday I threw a Scentsy party at my house. I had a bunch of yummy snack foods, and a good group of ladies who bought a bunch of stuff! Haha, so that means, I get a lot of free stuff! Awesome! I love this stuff though, it smells so good! But my husband decided that yesterday would be a great day to do yard work, and redo the mulch beds in front and on the side of the house...right by the windows in the living room, where my party was being held. Him and my BIL and step-nephews were working the whole time, making all kinds of noise and trampling dirt and mud in and out of the house when they needed to go to the bathroom or something. Grrrr....I don't think he knows how much time I actually spent cleaning yesterday to make this house presentable. However, the kids that were here all made a pretty good mess too! I just don't mind cleaning up after them as much. :)

Well I had a crazy few days this past weekend!! It started on Thursday for me. I took my sister to a conference she had in Toledo, and drove her car to Berrien Springs, MI to visit my SIL and BIL and my neice and nephew, all with A in tow, of course. It's only about a 3 hour drive or so, so it wasn't terrible. Friday morning, SIL, A and I drove to Michigan City, IN and caught the train to Chicago! SIL had a doctor's appointment, but we got to walk around Michigan Ave. quite a bit before the weather turned aweful! It was only in the high 30's and rainy and WINDY! Yeah, yeah...I know...Windy City. But that's not why it's called that. It's actually from it's politicians being full of hot air, perhaps like some of our current politicians who hail from the Chicago area...but I digress.

In the meantime, while we were on the train to Chicago, my sister went in to be induced with her 3rd child, and 3rd boy! :) He was born while we were on the train back to Michigan City. I left early in the morning for the drive back to Toledo. I got to meet little Bentley who weighed 6 lbs 2 oz, and was 22 (!!) inches long! He's amazing! I will try to add pics later.

On to IF things: I am currently on cd21, 7dpo, and my temps are staying well above the normal for me! I don't recall having any temps above 98 degrees, and yesterday and today were both 98.04. I don't really think it means anything at this point, since I'm only 7dpo, but it's exciting nonetheless.

Familywise, I spent much of last night cleaning eye goop out of A's eyes, and she woke up this morning with her eyes swollen and crusty :( Not Fun. I am waiting for the doctor's office to open up so I can call and get her in. At least she is still in relatively good spirits. She just looks miserable.
